To ensure the correct operation of the screen and prolong its useful life, we recommend that you regularly follow these basic maintenance guidelines:
Periodically inspect the display installation to verify that it remains properly fixed and in safe operating conditions.
Follow these instructions to clean the screen without damaging the anti-glare coating or other components.
Do not rub the screen with rough, coarse, or high-density materials.
Do not apply pressure to the screen surface.
Do not use permanent markers or dry-erase markers on the screen surface. If a dry-erase marker is used, remove the ink as soon as possible with a soft, lint-free, non-abrasive cloth.
Do not use cleaning solutions or glass cleaners not approved by SYNETECH. Using unauthorized products may deteriorate or discolor the screen surface.
The interactive panel uses infrared (IR) emitters and sensors located around the perimeter of the screen, between the display surface and the frame. Dust accumulation on these components can affect the optimal performance of the touch function. Inspect these areas and clean them weekly.
Do not use compressed air to clean the sensors or screen edges. Use a low-pressure air source, such as a camera cleaning blower.
Do not use water or cleaning products.
Do not apply excessive pressure when cleaning the screen, as it could damage the parts.
The display requires proper ventilation to ensure correct operation. Dust accumulation in the ventilation openings reduces cooling efficiency and can cause product failures.
Clean accessible ventilation slots monthly with a dry cloth.
Periodically clean the ventilation slots on the back with a vacuum cleaner equipped with a narrow nozzle. To access them, it may be necessary to unmount the display from the wall.
Avoid installing or using the display in environments with high levels of dust, humidity, smoke, or chemical vapors.
If the interactive panel has been moved from a cold to a warmer environment (e.g. from a warehouse to the installation site), let it rest for several hours to acclimate to the new temperature before operation. Otherwise, condensation may form in the space between the front glass and the LCD panel.
If you notice condensation under the screen after turning it on, select an active video source and keep the screen on for 48 hours. If the condensation does not disappear after that time and the display is still under warranty, contact SYNETECH technical support.
If moisture accumulation between the layers is sufficient for droplets to form or start sliding down the inside, immediately disconnect the power supply and, if the screen is still under warranty, contact SYNETECH technical support.
If the screen is wall-mounted, it may need to be removed to move it to another location.
To perform this operation safely, two or more qualified installers must intervene.
Do not attempt to move the screen without help.
Do not use the handles on the back to lift, drag, or transport the screen with ropes, cables, or other fasteners. The screen could fall and cause personal injury or product damage.
